Celebrating its 104th year, the State Fair of Louisiana is the largest fair held in the State of Louisiana attracting over 400,000 people in a 14-day period. It draws a broad cross section of people from all over Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi. It is also the Official State Fair for the state and has a tremendous impact on our community.

     The State Fair of Louisiana is a not-for-profit organization led by a board of directors and staff that has a mission to promote the agricultural and industrial resources of the state while providing entertainment and a better quality of life for its citizens. Each year the State Fair focuses on bringing in quality, family-friendly entertainment for our diverse population so we can ensure that there is something for everyone.

     This year, the State Fair, Vita Latina Magazine and La Invasora 92.1 are working together to bring the biggest event of the year to the Hispanic community. “A Taste of Mexico” on Sunday, November 7th will feature a slice of the Hispanic culture. Included in the day’s activities will be: music, food, booths, activities and low rider car show.
