About Us

The State Fair of Louisiana Livestock Department is responsible for a majority of the events which take place on the Fairgrounds. Besides planning and conducting all the livestock shows throughout the 14-day State Fair, the Livestock staff also handles “off-season” events. The livestock facilities are rented several weekends a year for many agricultural-related activities.

2021 State Fair of Louisiana Livestock Spring Show

The State Fair of Louisiana will host a Spring Livestock Show April 29, 2021 - May 2, 2021.

(Arrival on April 29, 2021 and April 30, 2021 - Contact our office to make arrangements if you have State School Testing)

Spring Livestock Show is Open to ALL States!

Exhibitors 0-21 years of age!

Dairy, Breeding Beef, Commercial Heifers, Minis, & Steers are welcome! All Breeds Welcome, 5 head will make a breed.

The 2021 Spring Livestock Show will take place April 29, 2021 - May 2, 2021. We are now accepting entries. ALL entries will be completed online. If you need assistance, please contact our office at 318-635-1361.
