When is Build A - Midway Mate?
The event takes place November 8, 2025 only. Animals will not be distributed before this date. If you miss the stuffing date and time, you may pick up your Midway Mate in the Fair Office during business hours until November 16, 2025. Any animal not redeemed by that date will be forfeited and become property of the State Fair of Louisiana.
This is a day-specific/event ticket. No refunds, rain checks, or exchanges.
What time is the event?
Midway Mates can be picked up between 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM on November 8. The last ticket will be redeemed at 3:30 PM.
If you miss the pick-up window, you may still claim your animal in the Fair Office during business hours until November 16, but you will not receive the stuffing ceremony experience or cotton candy.

Will you ship my Midway Mate?
No. Shipping is not available. Any Midway Mate not picked up by November 16 will be forfeited.
