RidingSafety is a recognized Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) training provider serving riders across Louisiana and Texas. Their courses are designed to help both new and experienced riders build the skills, confidence, and awareness needed to safely enjoy motorcycling.
Classes begin Friday evening from 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM with a classroom session that introduces key safety concepts and riding fundamentals. On most weekends, two riding sessions are offered on the range — an AM (morning) class and a PM (afternoon) class. Class times may vary throughout the year depending on daylight hours, so participants should always check the registration page for the most up-to-date schedule.
The Basic Rider Course (BRC) is designed for individuals with little to no motorcycle experience, as well as riders who may be returning after time away from riding. RidingSafety provides the motorcycle and a structured, supportive learning environment, making it easy for beginners to get started. Students are asked to complete a few quick preparation steps before attending class to help save time during the course and ensure they receive their MSF Completion Card upon graduation on Sunday afternoon.
For riders who already have experience, the Advanced Rider Course (ARC) offers an opportunity to sharpen existing skills and improve hazard awareness. This course focuses on advanced riding techniques, including improved braking, cornering control, and crash-avoidance strategies, helping riders take their abilities to the next level.
RidingSafety also offers a 3-Wheel Basic Course, perfect for individuals who want to experience the fun of riding without balancing on two wheels, or for those transitioning from traditional motorcycles to trikes. Participants may use their own three-wheel motorcycle and learn the techniques needed to ride confidently and safely.
