The BONE SOCIETY is an open community ensemble which began
as the trombone section of the Shreveport Metropolitan Concert Band and has
grown to include musicians from all walks of life from across the ArkLaTex.
This all-volunteer group is dedicated to bringing joy and excitement to the
community, performing music from Elvis to Disney, Broadway to the Beatles, all
on the unique and exciting sound of the trombone. The Bone Society is thrilled
to partner with the State Fair of Louisiana to present three outdoor
performances on October 28, 2023, at 11am, 12pm, and 1pm. This is a
one-of-a-kind musical experience you won’t want to miss!
