The State Fair of Louisiana takes pride in being the home of the Largest Jr & Open Livestock Show in the State. Our event brings together junior 4-H and FFA exhibitors from across Louisiana, all vying for bragging rights, ribbons, prize money, and the prestigious opportunity to participate in the ALTAC Jr. Livestock Sale. With over 5,000 head of animals showcased throughout the fair, there's no shortage of talent and excitement to experience.
But our Livestock Show isn't just a local affair. We welcome exhibitors from out of state to participate in our open breed shows, point shows, and we have even hosted several National Livestock shows. Our shows attract visitors and spectators from around the states, making the State Fair of Louisiana Livestock Show a truly exceptional experience for all involved.
